Well, I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a Canadian born expat who moved my family to Belgium, as I have dual nationality and my wife (British/Irish national) and I wanted to move closer to our remaining family.
That being said, I have sat experience in Canada with a motorized dish setup pulling 13 satellites on the arc, but have recently obtained my first dish setup here in Belgium, an Amiko Alien 2 (triple tuner w/ cable) on an 88cm dish with motor). The learning curve for this receiver has been dramatic and frustrating, but I've finally managed to get my dish working reasonably on about 5 satellites, even WITH the aid of my Birdog USB meter.
I have many issues remaining to be solved and a resultant many questions remaining to be answered, and I hope people here will be able to help! :thum:
