How to: Add an Nline/Cline to Skybox/Openbox

Ok so you are sent an Nline looking something similar to this:

N: eurocccam.zapto.org 14212 user password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

Step 1:
Copy this Nline into Notepad.

Save the file as CCcam.cfg ( Make sure "Save as type: All Files )

Step 2.
Copy the saved CCcam.cfg onto a USB Key.

Step 3.
Insert the USB Key into the Reciever.

Step 4.
Now on the reciever using the remote, go to "Menu".

Look for CCcam client set up or similar.

Now select "Update files by USB".

Select CCcam.cfg

Press Yellow button on remote to read the USB.

Then go back to manage config files select the Nline.

Exit to screen

Step 5.
Reboot box

Wait 1 minute and you should be connected.

I've just followed your post, but I'm using a mac so what would I have to use instead of notepad.

TextEdit is mac's version of notepad I believe.

This helped me no end when starting with a new box, To access the CCcam Client setup on a F5S, Goto the 'Network Local Setting' menu and select 'Camds setup' then select CCam Client setup, you can the update through USB or view and manage the lines inside your box.

If the Camds menu is missing press '6666' on your remote and it shall appear and from what I have seen remain present even through firmware upgrades.
